WEEKLY AMAZING FACTS



1) Asides the fact that Hippopotamuses produce ‘Pink’ milk, they also secrete a natural sunscreen substance which is red-coloured and referred to as ‘Blood sweat’. However, it is neither blood nor sweat.

2) The Alpine swift Bird (Tachymarptis melba), a specie of swifts has the ability to stay in flight for up to six (6) months.

3) Dolphins sleep with one eye open

4) An unborn niece or nephew whose gender is unknown is referred to as a “Niefling”.

5) A headless cockerel named, ‘Mike’ lived for 18 months after it was beheaded in a failed slaughter attempt that left its jugular vein intact. The headless chicken was fed with milk and water mixture through an eye dropper.

6) Statistics reveal that more people are attacked by cows rather than sharks

7) Pigs have orgasms that last for up to 30 minutes…..and we thought humans were having all the fun…
