Awoyemi Adeyemi professionally known as Deyemi used to be an (apprentice) barber at a shop in the streets of Aga Ikorodu,faced an early life filled with challenges and odds for survival, grew into passion for music and maintain ‘Deyemi’ as short of his real name to be his stage name. Deyemi who grew up in an extended family faced a life of Trials going from Ikorodu To Staying with his Aunt at Mile12 who has shop where drinks beer and skuches was sold then shuffling the streets of Lagos from Alapere, Fadeyi, Akoka, surulere before fame caught up with him
