News about the health status of
the former Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida went round recently and it was
announced that the he was very sick and at some point, he was declared dead.
The former head of State however
debunked the news on air this evening through a phone conversation with journalists.
He stated that they were all rumours as he is alive and healthy; he admitted
that he was sick and he actually travelled for treatment but he is now
perfectly fine. He also stated that he will be returning to Nigeria this week.
