1921: Baseball Legend, Babe Ruth was arrested and fined for over speeding

1936: The 1st parking meter was invented

1939: King George VI of England visited the United States

1949: Thailand came into existence after Siam was renamed

1953: 110 people were killed by tornadoes in Michigan and Ohio

1956: The Singaporean government was formed
