According to Yahoo News, Drake makes
history as only the second male ever to have the No. 1 song and album in the
country for seven weeks.
He has been holding the top spot on the
Billboard Hot 100 and Hot 200 charts with "One Dance" and Views for
seven weeks straight .
According to Yahoo News, he ties none
other than Michael Jackson who was the only other male artist to accomplish the
same feat back in 1983 with "Billie Jean" and Thriller.
The Beatles and Whitney Houston are the only two other acts in the chart's
history to ever achieve this.
Views has also achieved its own
milestone as the hip-hop album with the third-most weeks at No. 1, beating
out Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP. Vanilla Ice's To
the Extreme and MC Hammer's Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em are
the only two albums that have spent more time at the top spot with 16 weeks and
21 weeks, respectively.
