Following the kidnap of Kayode
Bajomo, a pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God on Sunday in Isawo,
Ikorodu, the perpetrators of the evil and fearless act have called to request
for a whopping sum of N100million.
According to the report by an eyewitness,
the pastor was cleaning the chairs in church with few members on Sunday in
preparation for the service when the kidnappers believed to be Niger Delta
militants came in under the pretence of being new members. On sighting the
pastor, their true identity was revealed and the pastor was forced to leave
with them.
The case is currently being handled
by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
