RONALDO TIES WITH MICHEL PLATINI’S RECORD AS PORTUGAL ADVANCES TO THE FINAL STAGE OF THE EURO 2016 COMPETITION

Portugal has qualified for the final stage of the Euro 2016 after beating Wales 2 goals to none. Ronaldo scored the 1st goal for the Portuguese team after a header in the 50th minute while Nani scored 3 minutes later from an assist by Ronaldo. After Ronaldo’s goal, he became the first player to equal Michel Platini’s record as the highest Euro goal scorer with a total of 9 goals. Who knows…Ronaldo might just break Platini’s record in the final stage.

France will play against Germany today for a spot in the Euro finals against Portugal. The best of luck to both teams and congrats to Cristiano Ronaldo.
