A truck carrying a 40-foot long
container fell on Motorcyclists and a commercial bus killing 3 people and
injuring 2 others at Alakija bus stop along Lagos-Badagry express way.
According to reports, the accident occurred
yesterday morning after the truck which had a brake failure ran into a bus and
fell on the motorcyclists killing 3 instantly and injuring 2 severely.
Officials of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), the Federal Road Safety Corps
(FRSC), the Lagos State Ambulance Bus Service (LASEMBUS) and some construction
workers were available for the rescue operation.
