FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO MAKE SECONDARY EDUCATION COMPULSORY FOR FEMALE CHILDREN

 

            Mrs Mairo Al-Makura who represented the 1^st Lady of Nigeria, Mrs Aisha Buhari, while speaking at the Nigerian Institute of Management’s Women-in-Management and Leadership Conference in Abuja said that, the Federal Government is considering a law that will make it compulsory for every female child to attain at least secondary school education.

            According to her, the bill would receive inputs from women nationwide and be put forward to the National Assembly which would be facilitated by the Federal Government through the free Education policy.
