The authorities of Obafemi Awolowo
University, Ile-Ife have finally called off the 2 months strike by the
Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU) and the Senior Staff
Association of Nigerian University (SSANU).
The decision was confirmed by Mr
Biodun Olanrewaju, The Public Relations Officer of the institution in a press
statement today, 28th of July. According to the statement, new
students are expected to resume on Wednesday, 3rd of August, while
the returning students will resume on Sunday, 7th of August.
