FIRE KILLS 12 NEW BORN BABIES IN AN IRAQI HOSPITAL


 
            At least 12 babies were killed by fire at the Yarmouk Hospital in Baghad, Iraq. The ministry of health stated that the fire which broke out in the middle of the night was probably caused by an electrical fault and it took 3 hours before the fire was put out.

            8 children and 29 women were moved out of the maternity unit where the incident occurred to nearby hospitals and the injured survivors are currently being treated.
